Dark atmospheric horror scene, extreme low-key lighting, deep blacks with a single sliver of blood-red light bleeding through a doorway gap, faint film grain and PS1-era low-poly aesthetic, ominous empty hallway, cinematic moody fog, no text, no people, high contrast red and black

Thrilltalkz

Indie horror, unearthed and obsessed over by someone who loves it

No studio. No team. Just one horror obsessive digging through games so you don’t have to waste a night on something that doesn’t scare you.

What this blog is actually about

Indie horror is drowning in releases. Most of it isn’t worth your time. Some of it absolutely is.

Thrilltalkz is a curated “best of” blog for indie horror games. I write roundup articles, dig into specific sub-genres, and tell you honestly which games earned the fear and which ones just wear the costume.

Three things you’ll find here

01

Indie horror roundups

Curated “best of” lists drawn from the shadows of the indie horror scene — not scraped from store pages or trending tags.

02

Sub-genre deep dives

PS1-style horror, analog horror, and short horror games you can finish in under two hours. I go narrow and deep, not wide and shallow.

03

Honest curation

Opinionated and unbought. If a game is a masterpiece I’ll say so. If it’s overhyped jump-scare filler, I’ll say that too.

Moody dark desk setup of a solo horror game blogger, glowing monitor casting faint red light in a pitch-black room, silhouette of a person from behind facing a screen showing a dark game, atmospheric, cinematic, red and black color grade, film grain, no readable text

Who’s behind it

It’s just me.

ThrillTalkz isn’t backed by a large team, a publisher, or sponsored opinions. It’s a one-person passion project built around a genuine obsession with indie horror games — focused on discovering new releases, following emerging developers, and exploring the experiences that push the genre forward.

That’s the whole appeal. When I cover something, it’s because it’s genuinely exceptional — not because a publisher asked or a spreadsheet told me to. This is a passion project built on real obsession, and it reads like one.

Come find your next sleepless night.
